I will safeguard players’ rights for the ongoing advancement of Korean football.

Hello,

This is Keun-ho Lee the co-president of KPFA.
The KPFA is a full member of FIFPRO, with over 65,000 professional football players worldwide. We strive to protect players’ rights and contribute to the development of Korean football.

Since the inception of the K League, Korean football has made significant strides in various aspects such as match quality and infrastructure. However, in terms of player rights, there remains a noticeable deficiency that needs to be addressed.

As the representative organization of Korean professional football players, the association will take the lead in vigorously protecting the fundamental rights of players. Through these efforts, we strive to contribute to further advancement of Korean football.

Until the day Korean football transcends its reputation as the leading nation in Asian football and becomes globally renowned for player rights, the KPFA will continue to progress.

Please show a lot of interest and support.

Thank you.

Keun-ho Lee , Co-president of KPFA

사무총장 김훈기

We will be a strong support for the improvement of the players’ welfare.

Hello

This is Hoonki Kim, Secretary General of KPFA.
Recently, Korean football has been developing and gaining global attention by producing numerous famous players. As a result, many domestic fans are returning to stadiums to cheer for the players, signaling a resurgence of football enthusiasm once again.

Despite these positive developments, the reality remains that there is still much progress to be made in terms of players’ rights.

Even though Korea has experienced significant economic growth and social development, and the awareness of its population is comparable to that of advance nations, there are still numerous instances in the football industry where players’ basic rights, which should be protected, are not ensured.

The KPFA collaborates with various experts to assist players in protecting their fundamental rights.

The KPFA aims to become a trusted organization among players, promising to create an environment where basic rights are guaranteed so they can focus solely on football.

We kindly ask for your contined interest and supprot, dear players.

Thank you

Hoonki kim, Secretary General of KPFA
